Xaverian community radio provides an immensely powerful tool for delivering educational standards and providing a real world learning experience for students.
Internet radio design involves realistic problem solving, investigation, development, and innovation. Xaverian students demonstrate these skills as the disc jockey’s, webmasters and computer technicians who produce Hawks Radio. Xaverian Hawks Radio engages students, parents and alumni. Broadcasting and podcasting also connect students to other school communities worldwide. Mrs. Theresa Jay presented Hawk Radio Station,WHKS at MassCue:11/06 and edAcess:6/07.
