The Hawks Radio Station serves as a real world learning experience for students pursuing careers on Radio. The Hawks Radio Station will engage all members of the Xaverian community: students, staff, alumni, and parents with non-commercial radio programming. Vision

The Hawks Radio Station will be a non-commercial radio station programmed by students to reflect the Xaverian community. The innovative diverse programming will inform listeners about the Xaverian community with educational, informational, and entertaining programming. Students will gain experience in broadcasting a range of topics including music, sports, and assemblies.

Music Programming

The Hawks Radio Station will provide a unique listening experience for the Xaverian Community. Student DJ’s will play music that is distinctive to the Xaverian Community. Xaverian student band recordings will be given air time along with various genres the Xaverian student community enjoy. Student DJ’s will also provide music knowledge about the songs selected for airplay. The music will be approved by Ms. Jay, the station manager. There will be school updates recorded into the play list by various DJ's.
